Mendocino Wine Co. wants everyone to be able to browse and buy our wines online, including people with disabilities. We are working to make mendocinowineco.shop meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What we have done

  • Added descriptive text (alt text) to our logo and wine photos
  • Organized pages with clear headings so they work well with screen readers
  • Made sure links are underlined and text has enough color contrast to read easily
  • Kept the site usable with a keyboard alone, with a visible outline showing where you are on the page
  • Allowed pages to be zoomed and resized on phones and computers

Ordering and age verification

Our shopping cart, checkout and age verification are provided by our licensed shipping partner, Vinoshipper. We are working with them on accessibility, but some parts of those features are outside our direct control.
